Sacred Hearts draw tough opponents in girls division

The draw for the 2010 edition of the grand finale of the Sprite Ball Championship in the girls division has been made with defending champions Sacred Hearts opening the defence of their title with difficult games against Fijai Senior High, Kadjebi-Asato, Kinbu Secondary Technical and Akosombo International School in Group B.

The Accra –based side are the current Greater Accra champions following a bittersweet display against Tema Senior High in the finals in the region last month.

Group A is fairly balanced with Northern regional champions Damongo Senior High squaring off against twice Eastern regional champions Nkawkaw Senior High, Techiman Girls and Kumasi-based St Louis.

Ashanti regional champions Yaa Asantewaa will test their strength against Ghana International School, Insaaniya, Takoradi and Awudome Senior High in group C.

The final matches in group D will see new comers Sunyani Senior High, Aggrey Memorial Zion, Tamale and Tema Senior High battling each other.
