We’re ready for the grand finale – Afari

Chief Executive Officer of Rite Multimedia, Yaw Sakyi Afari, says all is set for the much-awaited grand finale of the 2010 Sprite Ball Championship.

The 5th edition of the prestigious competition among senior high schools takes centre stage on Wednesday December 22-23rd at the El-Wak stadium with all teams ready for the showdown in what is expected to be the most keenly contested championship in recent memory.

In all forty (40) schools drawn from eight regions will take part in the two-day competition which is expected to enact rivalry or asset dominance.

The regional championship brought the best out of the young talents on shore which continued to draw huge numbers to the venue on weekly basis which started on October 17, 2010 at Mawuko Girls Senior High School.

Rite Multimedia showed yet another unparallel organization of the game in the West African Country and for the various major stakeholders who witnessed the competition; it was business-as-usual for the Accra based company which has been hugely credited with the revolution of the game in Ghana.

The young entrepreneur, whose brainchild has seen the heightened interest of the game, expects the mushrooming talents to blossom into stardom in the foreseeable future.

‘We’re ready for the big showdown on Wednesday and Thursday and I simply can’t wait for these players to exhibit their talents’. Afari told Accra –based Citi FM

‘Preparations from our end has been fantastic and I can say that we’re almost 100 through with everything to make the teams their stay in Accra a memorable one. We continue to grow in the game and we’ve shown it over the years that when it comes to the organization of the game in Ghana, we’re second to none. It’s been hard work coupled with team work throughout and therefore will entreat all basketball fans to be at the El-Wak stadium to see the future of Ghana basketball’.

He added: This year we’re putting together fantastic package which will include music and dance, face painting, bouncy castle among others. Some of the country’s finest hiplife artiste like Asem, Eazzy and Trigmatic will be there to entertain the crowd. So there is a lot to look forward to and one can’t afford to miss out’.
