With the regional competition in the Eastern and Central regions done and dusted, focus will be shifted to the capital on Saturday as the final phase of the qualifying campaign will take centre stage at the El-Wak stadium.
Defending Champions Air Force Basic School must fend competition from the likes of Base Workshop, Great Lamptey Mills, Ridge Church, Garrison, Achimota, Cosmos, Kalvary and debutant Lincoln International School amongst others to defend their trophy.
The competition has gathered momentum with top-drawer performances from teams in both the Eastern and Central regions where four schools have booked their ticket for the grand-finale in Accra on April 13.
Eastern Regional Champions Roman Catholic JHS and first runner up Akosombo International School will represent the region while Mfantsipim and 2011 champions Catholic Jubilee have earned the ticket to represent the Central Region in the finals.
However the competition is expected to keenly contested in the capital with a wider pool of schools expected to participate in the one-day championship at the citadel of basketball in Ghana.
All roads will surely lead to the El-Wak stadium in Accra where thousands of enthusiastic fans are expected to throng the venue t catch a glimpse of emerging talents on shore.
