This year’s edition marks the 20th anniversary of the death of the man who donated the Lebanon court to the Ghana Basketball Association which has helped to develop the game tremendously.
The championship will be fought keenly between the top flight sides in both the male and female division.
Tema Youth silenced giants CEPS to clinch the title in the men’s division two years ago while CEPS ladies also lifted the trophy in the women’s category.
Teams expected to competitive in this year’s tournament include CEPS, Tema Youth, Reformers, Holy Family, Fire, Magic, Panthers and Police.
At stake will be a giant trophy and cash prizes for winners.
