Shama secure Sprite Ball qualification

Shama Senior High booked their seat in the finals of the 2013 Sprite Ball Championship after a hard fought 19-18 win over Sekondi College in the girls’ finals.

Shama will thus represent the West Region in the girls’ category following the feat and will join St Johns Senior High, who negotiated their tie against Ghana Secondary Technical School.

Shama are not new customers in the Sprite Ball competition, having featured in the Western Regional competition in the past.

The fact that they qualified at the expense of Archbishop Porter Girls speaks volumes of their pedigree and could be one of the dark horses in the competition.
