KETASCO FRAMEKeta Senior High School (Ketasco), has vowed to redraft history when the regional Sprite Ball train hit the Volta Region on the 7 November, 2009.

The Keta based school put up an amazing performance to beat four teams enroute to be crowned champions in the male division last year at the Ho Stadium and the same venue is expected to bubble up this year.

Keta disposed off the likes of Keta Business School and highly fancied Mawuli Senior High School to emerge victorious in the Volta regional competition last term and they have sworn to repeat the dose this time around.

But they will have major contenders in the region this time around as Akatsi Secondary Technical School has promised to give them a good run for their money.

Over 20 schools in Volta region are expected to converge at the Ho Stadium next month to take part in the fourth edition of the biggest and finest basketball competition and the fans will be thrilled to great basketball artistry and legerdemain.

Only six schools (from both the male and female) from the region will qualify to participate in the mega final at the El-Wak Stadium on the 19th and 20th December, 2009.

Sprite Ball 2009 is brought to you by Sprite, Sprite your thirst and Indoomie Noodles, taste great with support from Inkit, Joy FM, 90 minutes newspaper, Rock FM, Radio Xtacy and Premier FM and Powered by Rite Multimedia, leaders in basketball development in Ghana.
