Warriors continued their impressive run in the series with a comfortable 88-56 win over basement boys on Wednesday.

The Nima-based side showed resilience and firepower to kill the determination of their opponent and in the process handed them their 11 defeats of the current campaign.

Coach Abeiku Sagoe’s men were the overpowering favourite for the tie and they justly underlined that tag with a free flowing and attacking game at the Lebanon House in Tudu on Wednesday afternoon to make their game a one sided contest.

The result has left the Burma camp based in the relegation dog fight and now needs a miracle to survive in the top flight.

It was clear forecast for Tema Youth who were forced to delve deep in winning 52-35 in the final game on Wednesday.

The score line does suggest a total domination by the victors but Tema Youth were made to sweat for the maximum points following a late surge by their opponent.

The action is getting interesting in the Greater Accra basketball league as the series reaches home stretch.

In a related development, 7th placed Magic battle Reformers while Panthers sort issues out with Police on Friday at the Prisons court, Cantonment.
