The second round of the ongoing Greater Accra basketball championship is shaping up as the men begin to separates from the boys in the country’s top flight league.

Last year’s bridesmaid in the ladies division, Custom Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) tackle Holy Family on Friday May 6 at the Prison’s court. The game will be keenly contested as both teams have shown tremendous abilities this season.

CEPS, current Thome Cabalan champions are eager to win the series after they missed out last term to perennial foes Police. They’ve remained one of the strongest sides in the ladies division and veteran coach Braimah Lawah isn’t ready to stop adding trophies to the club’s rich cabinet.

Police currently lead the table and that brings massive pressure on CEPS to win Friday’s game.

In the men’s division, Fire and Warriors meet in a potential cracker at the same venue. Both sides’ need to get decent result to cushion their quest maintain a respectable position on the league table.
