Mouth-watering fixtures await basketball lovers when day-two of the 2012 Cabalan Thomme championship continues on Tuesday in Accra.

After an exciting opening-day contest that saw Police and Panthers recording victories, attention will shift to the other contenders who will be seeking their first win in  the competition.

Defending women’s champions CEPS will begin their title defense with a tricky game Galaxy in the first game at the Lebanon court.

Galaxy look transformed and will pose serious threat to the ambitions of CEPS to defend their crown.

Their  head coach Francis Wilson is confident his charges can turn the scales around this time around.

“We’ve changed our name to Galaxy and that tells you we’re a different team with different philosophy,”

“My girls are battle ready and I believe we’ll fight to the death. We’ve beaten CEPS twice this year and yet to lose to them and so that should serve as real boost for the team.”

The other big games on Tuesday will see Yotive take on Magic while Reformers will entertain Warriors in an action-packed affair.
