The 2015 Sprite Ball trophy touched base at Koforidua with students of Pope Johns and Koforidua Secondary School having to catch a glimpse of the glittering trophy.

The Trophy which is on a tour of six regions has garnered massive interest among crazy fans as they jostle to an up close feel of the gigantic trophy.

As expected, students of KSTS (who were best fans at 2014 Sprite Ball finals) came out in their numbers to see the trophy. They were led by their assistant headmaster, sports master and a host of teachers.

The next destination at their rivals Pope Johns was a moment to relive as authorities and student demonstrated their love for the fastest growing sports in Ghana.

The trophy has so far visited Presbyterian Senior High- Osu, Labone, Accra Girls amongst others.

The train will hit the Ashanti, Volta, Central and Western Regions in the coming days.

The Sprite Ball Championship is the biggest basketball event in Ghana with over ten thousands expected to grace the occasion at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra on January 9-10, 2015.
