The 2015 Sprite Ball finalists are on the road visiting four selected orphanages in Accra ahead of the start of the tournament on Friday.
The 16 boys and 8 girls schools have been housed in two groups with the first group visiting the Teshie and Osu orphanages.
The second group are on their way to the Dzorwulu Special School and the Remar International, located at Dansoman to interact and their share life experiences with the under-privilege ones in society.
The charity work is a new initiate from the organizers to inculcate in the young lads the need to share and care for the less privilege in society.
They will interact, have fun and play basketball with them as a small way of letting them know they care for them.
The two groups will converge at the Accra Mall before they head to Ghana’s premier television station, TV3 for the official opening ceremony scheduled to be shown LIVE at 5pm today (Thursday).
