5St. Mary’s Senior High School made quite a show at the arrival of the Sprite Ball trophy when the school hosted one of West Africa’s most coveted trophies.

Students turned in their thousands to greet the tour entourage who touched down at the Korle-Bu based institution on the Greater Accra Region leg of the trophy tour.

The 2016 Sprite Ball Championship will take place between January 3-7 at El-Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra and is set to have 26 schools compete in male and female categories respectively.

Headmistress Mrs. Doris Bramson expressed her delight on having the national trophy in the school.

St.Mary’s, Tema Senior High School and Accra Wesley Girls will represent the Greater Accra Region in the girls’ division at the national games.

Accra Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (Legon) will represent the region in the male division.
