IMG-20151229-WA0005Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School coach Ernest “Oxygen” Koomson remains defiant about his chances of clinching the 2016 Sprite Ball crown.

The young trainer is not daunted by the presence of other stellar teams and has vowed the Saltpond-based side will rewrite history next month.

Mfantsiman-twice bronze medalist are housed in group C alongside Awudome, Tema Senior High and Kumasi Girls after Sunday’s draw on TV3’s Fast Break.

The territory appears all familiar with Mfantsiman glazing the door in the last two editions churning out decent performances to win bronze medals in their previous attempts.

” I must say we are ready for this tournament and we will beat any team that comes our way”.
“This is our time”. “We are taking the trophy to the Central Region. No two ways about that” he continued.
“It was an exciting draw indeed and I congratulate the other teams for making it to the tournament”.

Match days of the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship will be held between January 5-7, 2016 at El-Wak Stadium in Accra.
