St. John’s School basketball head coach Ebenezer Boateng is confident his team is ready to cause major ripples at the 2016 Sprite Ball Championship.
The young and vibrant coach made the statements when contacted by Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of the draw for next year’s championship.
He said.”We believe the time is now, for us to redeem ourselves” ” It’s our time!”
“Watch out for The Saints.We are coming in hard on everyone”
St. John’s School have been drawn in Group B alongside Prempeh College, Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary and Adisadel College. All four schools were drawn in the same group in the 2012 edition.
St. John’s and Adisadel failed to qualify out of the group that Coach Boateng uttered “It’s not going to be history repeating itself but rather re writing of history”.
The Sprite Ball Championship match days are to be held between January 5-7, 2016 at El-Wak Stadium in Accra.
