Aside the smooth playing surface, the court also has good lighting which makes it very easy to play in the evening, unlike many of Ghana’s basketball courts which do not have proper lighting.
The Central Courts have seen many historic games played here including the epic finals of the 2011 and 2015 UPAC Championship that had Accra Polytechnic defeat University of Education (Winneba) and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology respectively.
