2016 Ghana Basketball Awards High School Female Player of the Year nominee Juliana Cudjoe has noted a major difference playing in High School and the professional level.

Since graduating the standout Point Guard for Aggrey Memorial has suited up for Accra Basketball League outfit Reformers of Prisons in a key role off the bench.

The 2016 Basketball Awards will take place on Friday at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Ghana’s capital, Accra where notable dignitaries including Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri will be present.

“It’s a big transition because in SS(High School) we do play…childish but in the senior division, its more of more passing and there is a big change” she said when contacted by Basketballghan.com following Reformers 62-38 win over Fire Service.

Cudjoe came off the bench as Guards Promise Ofori and Augustina Amuzu started the game for Reformers and connected on a couple of jump shots to help the team brush off a narrow 32-33 loss to Galaxy in the prior round.

The game also featured Most Valuable Player of the Year nominee Carlyn Adjei of Fire Service.

Cudjoe was splendid at the Sprite Ball Championship earlier this year as she helped Aggrey Memorial Mount Zion School win the national championship by beating Accra Wesley Girls in the final game. Her strong performance culminated in winning the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
