One of Ghana’s brightest NBA prospects Amida Brimah of University of Connecticut (UCONN) will be in action tonight when his side takes on University of South Florida.

The sides met earlier this year in a game UCONN won 81-60.

Brimah has been in good scoring form recording consecutive double digit marks for the Huskies including a 16 point outing in an 82-68 loss to Cincinnati on Saturday, February 4.

His upsurge in fortunes on the offensive is sure to bump his NBA ratings a notch since his game thrives on the defensive end.

The seven foot Center has been a top defender throughout his stay in College averaging over two blocks per game.
For this season, he is averaging 2.9 and eight points.

Brimah is looking to become the second ever Ghana-born player to be drafted into the NBA after Ben Bentil was drafted 51st overall by Boston Celtics in last year’s Draft.

He won an NCAA Championship in 2014 alongside Portland Trailblazers Point Guard Shabazz Napier.
