Another bumper night in the NBA saw 22 teams take to the hard wood on Monday and Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic got a triple double in the win against the Golden State Warriors with a career-high 21 rebounds and 12 assists.

Nuggets hit Warriors

The Denver nuggets beat the Golden State Warriors 132-110 on the back of Nikola Jokic’s 17-point, 21-rebound and 12-assist triple-double. Juan Hernangomez had a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double, and Will Barton also finished with a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Kevin Durant with 25 points, four rebounds and five assists, Patrick McCaw had 19 points and Ian Clark ended the game with 18 points.

Sixers swat Hornets

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Charlotte Hornets 105-99. Dario Saric had an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double, Robert Covington had 17 points and five rebounds, and and TJ McConnell had 14 points, four rebounds and seven assists.

Kemba Walker led the Hornets with 29points and seven rebounds, Nicolas Batum had 16 points and four rebounds, while Frank Kaminsky finished with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Magic cools Heat

The Orlando Magic beat the Heat 116-107 in Miami. Algerian-French guard Evan Fournier had 24 points and four assists, Elfrid Payton had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists, Congolese forward Serge Ibaka had 17 points and eight rebounds, and DRC-born center Bismack Biyombo had two points and 10 rebounds.

The Heat were led by Dion Waiters with 23 points and six assists, Goran Dragic has 22 points, and Hassan Whiteside had a 12-point, 19-rebound double-double.

Wizards stop Thunder

The Washington Wizards handed the Oklahoma City Thunder their second consecutive loss beating them 120-98. Markieff Morris had 23 points and six rebounds, Bradley Beal had 22 points, Otto Porter Jr had an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double, and John Wall finished with a 15-point, 14 assist double-double.

Joffrey Lauvergne led the Thunder with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists, Russell Westbrook had 17 points, four rebounds and four assists, and Nigerian-American guard Victor Oladipo finished with six points.

Bucks break Pistons

The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Detroit Pistons 102-89. Gregg Monroe had a 25-point, 13-rebound double-double, Michael Beasley had 23 points and four assists, while Tony Snell had 16 points.

The Pistons were led by Marcus Morris with 26 points and five rebounds, Andre Drummond had a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double, and Jon Leuer also finished with a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

A 32-point game from Kawhi Leonard led the San Antonio Spurs past the Indiana Pacers 110-106, the Grizzlies defeated the struggling Brooklyn Nets 112-103, the Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-98 on the back of Isaiah Thomas’ 29 points and eight assists, Blake Griffin’s 26-point, 10-rebound double-double helped the LA Clippers beat the Utah Jazz 88-72, the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Phoenix Suns 110-108 on Anthony Davis’ 24-point, 10-rebound double-double, and Atlanta Hawks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 109-104 in overtime.
