Navy (in shades of blue) in action against Fire Service in the 2016 Accra League.
Boye is now with Tema Youth.

Tema (white) beat Navy.

Fire Service is set to play its first game of the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I when the side takes on Tudu Magic on Wednesday March 22 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the opening game of midweek games to be honored.

Ghana Navy plays Adenta Leopards with the former seeking its first win of the season following a 65-72 loss to Tema Youth.

New boys Leopards won its debut game in Division I with a 55-41 win over DC Dynamics.

The fixture was originally scheduled to be played in the opening round of the new season.

After losing key talents in Center Joseph Boye and Kingsley Quist in the offseason, Fire comes up against a deep

Magic roster that roped in Shooting Guards Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Gabriel Numarworse. Boye and Quits have since joined Tema Youth.

Magic got its first win of the season in the first round by beating Dynamics 59-46 at the CCYC Court at Kawukudi.
The league is still mourning the losses of founding father Matthias Ocloo and former league administrator Benjamin Baafi.
