Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I outfit DC Dynamics remains winless in the ongoing 2017 season following a 57-61 loss to Fire Service. This is the third straight loss of the season for the Dansoman side who ranked at the bottom of the standings heading into the contest.
Despite welcoming back a host of players from injury, DC failed to get past the remaining unbeaten side in the league this season.
Captain Dennis Boateng, Francis Arkoh and Sena Asante were out injured in previous rounds of the league but featured in the Fire tie.
Boateng buried a couple of free throws and combined well with Guard Lantei Blankson-Mills for a key three point shot that pulled the side to within three points of Fire’s lead (18-21).
Blankson-Mills fouled out of the game with 25 seconds left in the third quarter.
Asante made a great debut on his return to the field with top defense and three conversions from the three point line to keep DC in the tie. However, Dynamics brave showing was not enough to end the side’s winless run.
