GBBA Vice Chairman Gamel addressing stakeholders at the meeting.
The first of two sessions of a specially arranged technical seminar has concluded at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The session which focused largely on the theoretical aspect of the shot clock brought together stakeholders from the Accra Basketball League (ABL) including coaches and players.

Vice Chairman of the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) Iddrisu Gamel was the main speaker at the event and the veteran referee detailed the major aspects of applying the clock.

Some members of the League’s executive board also chipped in some insight including Ghana Navy Coach and League Commissioner Alexander Tindani .

The next session albeit a more practical one will be held on Saturday May13 at the same location where each team needs to be represented by two players including the Captain.

The seminar is necessary in light of the board’s plan to introduce it when the second round of the league tips off on May 19.

However, no referee attended the seminar despite being included among invitees.
