Top executives of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) have made a special appearance on basketball television show “Courtside”.

The high ranking personnel of Ghana’s premier basketball league made the appearance on the show which aired on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports between 17:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT; the two hour show airs on the channel between 14:00 and 16:00 GMT on Sundays.

League Vice Chairman Kofi Amanyo, Commissioner Alexander Tindani and Executive Emmanuel Quaye discussed extensively on issues regarding the league’s challenges and further development with Host Yaw Sakyi Afari.

Strategies worked out to improve the league’s quality particularly scoring, led the league board to introduce a 24 second shot clock.

The shot clock was introduced in the second round of the Men’s Division I and was used in the opening fixtures of the round which had Ghana Navy lose 39-75 to Braves of Customs and Tema Youth beat DC Dynamics 77-44.

Courtside is Ghana’s leading basketball show and airs every Sunday between 14:00and 16:00 GMT.
