Ghana Navy is set to play University of Ghana (UG) in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division on Thursday May 25 at the Lebanon House Court in an outstanding fixture.
The game will take place at 17:00 GMT and forms one of two outings the tertiary institution has to play following its inability to honor games in previous rounds due to reasons termed as “administrative”.
Heading into the game, neither side is faring well in the division following series of losses that have blighted the respective campaigns of each team.
After a strong start to the season, Navy’s hot form has fizzled into thin air and lost its last game in the campaign 30-50 to Braves of Customs.
The win has got defending champions Customs back in serious contention for the title following a wobbly start to the season.
UG on the other hand, ranks bottom in the standings but can make a huge jump should the side win both outstanding games against Navy and Braves in upcoming fixtures.
