Brimah blocks shot as Ernest Aflakpui looks on.

Ghanaian NBA hopeful Amida Brimah has described himself as “Energetic, great shot blocker” and a guy who “can run the floor really well” in post interviews following a draft workout with Utah Jazz.

The University of Connecticut Center is a tantalizing prospect for the upcoming draft which takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on June 22 and has already worked out for Milwaukee Bucks.

Asked what his best assets are, the Accra-born 2013 College Champions made reference to his physical traits that makes him stand out from other prospects.

“I’m very energetic, great shot blocker and I can run the floor really well” he responded.
Brimah registered an eye popping 87 blocks in 33 games this past season with the Huskies and is looking to channel such great numbers into an NBA career.

As good as his defense is, Amida has been labeled an offensively challenged player throughout his time in College but he quickly dismissed the notion saying,” I see around the floor really well… I have a pretty good I have a pretty good offensive game too and I hope to get better and show people what I can do”.
