Reformers of Prisons have won a friendly game against Ghana Police beating the latter 83-79 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

Both sides who used the game a tune up for upcoming ties, played out a good competitive game that had either side pushing for the win.

However, in light of standout performances from Guards Andrews Ayienab and Nii Ayi Mensah, Reformers were able to push through for the win.

Prisons in the process maintains its winning run as the side prepares for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Division II slated to tipoff later this year.

Prisons beat Tudu Magic 71-63 the previous week and have maintained its readiness for the start date by competing in the Tema Community League where the side is unbeaten in three Group A encounters.

Like Prisons, Police also features in the Tema League as it awaits the start date for the Division II and is yet to drop a game.

Reformers will be in action on Sunday May 28 against Teshie Rangers.
