The first round of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division officially comes to a close on Thursday June 1.
The league’s first half concludes on the above stated date after the outstanding game between Ghana Navy and University of Ghana (UG) is honored.
The game was scheduled to be played on May 25 but heavy rains prevented it from taking place; UG was scheduled to play Navy in May but couldn’t honor the tie due to “administrative reasons”.
Barring bad weather, the newly set date will have both teams in action at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu; the game tips off at 17:30 GMT.
Following two straight losses, Navy will be hoping for a win to halt the bad run and complete the double over the tertiary side after winning 41-26 in the first round.
