The well respected Basketball pundit’s comments come on the back off several weeks of verbal clashes between team members and officials during and after games.
As a result, Asiedu, who doubles as Media Coordinator for Ghana’s Wheelchair Basketball Federation, is taking a hard line to address the issue saying:
“If teams have a problem with the way games are called and officiated then they can dismiss themselves from the league because going forward we are having none of that”.
The last round of games involving Ghana Police and Ghana Navy played over the weekend witnessed another bout of tirades directed at referees and chief organizer Fred Yeboah.
The incident is the latest in a long line of acts this season that fall contrary to what the rules stipulate. It must be noted such scenes were largely missing from the league’s debut season last year.
