Don Bosco Giants have forfeited a scheduled game against Tema Heat in the last round of games played in the Tema Community Basketball League.

The young side making its debut appearance in the league was set to feature as one of four games lined up at Tema’s Community 4 Court.

However, while all three preceding games went on as planned, the game involving Giants and Heat could not take place as Team Bosco failed to turn up.

Reports gathered by Basketballghana.com indicate miscommunication following a change in schedule from the original one released prior to the start of the league didn’t go down well as planned.

As a result, Bosco has lost the game and 20 goals for the forfeiture. This means the side has won just a game all season and further dims the chances of making a postseason appearance later in the year.

The side is in Group B and falls further behind leaders Tema Communities 4 and 2 respectively.
