Participants at the maiden “Bardo’s Breakdown” Basketball Clinic held earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, have been tutored on lessons on the court as well as lessons off it.

The one day event which is headlined by former NBA player turned Broadcaster Stephen Bardo, had payers from one of Ghana’s best academies Tudu Galaxy Basketball Academy participating.

Aside guiding players on fundamental basketball drills in key areas such as shooting and passing, Bardo, a motivational speaker was keen to pass on valuable information needed for young players to succeed in and outside the sport.

In an exclusive interview with the ex-Dallas Mavericks Guard, Bardo reiterated the need to pass on valuable bits of information to developing talents.

“A lot of times basketball is more than just on the court…when we do drills, we touch the line because you don’t to take shortcuts in life, if you take shortcuts on a basketball court, you will do it everywhere so I try to teach those life skills that you learn through basketball”.

“Hardwork, sacrifice, team work, dedication and these guys have all been doing that” he said.
