Accra League Division II continues tonight

Junior Reformers
Junior Rangers take on Spartans tonight at 17:00 GMT at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the opening game of the second wave of fixtures in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season.

The Rangers-Spartans game precedes what looks to be an exciting matchup between Junior Reformers and Akatsi Rifles immediately after the opening game.

Junior Reformers of Prisons and Rifles feature in the Tema Basketball League but have not played against each other since Junior Reformers are in Group A and Rifles are in Group B of the burgeoning league.

After an opening round that had a pair of exciting games, tonight’s games are in line to follow suit as the chase for spots in the elite division intensifies.

DC Dynamics Aspirants lost 54-58 to Novas Academy and Reformers of Prisons beat Panthers 60-53 on the opening day of the campaign on Wednesday August 16 at the same venue.

The latest round marks the second straight game a team from Prisons will be in action following Reformers win over Panthers as the its Junior side prepares for Rifles.
