Reports reaching Basketballghana.om indicate NBA stars David West and TJ Warren have flown out of Ghana after headlining the “Africa All Access” Camp.

The pair was the main attraction at the one day basketball event where young players from the country were taken through several aspects of development in the sport and outside of it.

Golden State Warriors Power Forward West and Phoenix Suns Forward TJ Warren placed emphasis on educating camp participants on positive traits such as discipline and sacrifice.

Former NBA Toronto Raptors Forward now Advanced Scout for San Antonio Spurs Pops Mensah-Bonsu, was at the camp to pass on his extensive knowledge on basketball to the younger generation.

Mensah-Bonsu, who was born in England to Ghanaian parents, was happy to “give back to his community”.

The visit is West’s third trip to Ghana and his first as an NBA Champion following Golden State’s win over Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals. The Warriors begin the new season on October 18 with a game against Houston Rockets.
