Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Program Ghana representative Kitson Jojo Quashie, has described his experience at this year’s Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Program as one of a kind.

The Power Forward/Center represented Ghana at the recently ended three day event held at the American International School in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Kitson was one of 80 players selected from countries on the continent who are next in line to emulate program graduates Joel Embiid, Luc Richard Mbah A Moute and Gorgui Dieng to make it to the NBA.

Speaking exclusively to Basketballghana.com after touching down in the West African country, Quashie was in ebullient mood describing his stay in South Africa.

“The exposure was one of a kind. Metting NBA players, legends and having the opportunity to ask them how they were able to attain such great heights”.

“I even spoke with Kristaps Porzingis on Thursday which led to him giving me his sneakers he used for the (Team) World vs (Team) Africa game.

Quashie plays for young side Don Bosco Giants in the Tema Basketball League.
