Tema Community 2 has retaken the lead in Group B of the 2017 Tema Basketball League season to capoff an outstanding week for the team.
Earlier in the week, C2 stunned the Tema Community 4 Court with a scintillating display in a 73-19 win over Ashaiman Warriors. The win puts C2 in the lead with 23 with Tema Heat in second place with the same point tally.
However, C2’s scoring output put the side ahead on the rankings. Rival Community 4 lis third in the standings with Ghana Navy in fourth position with 22 and 21 points respectively; Navy and C4 face off on Sunday September 3.
In Group A, defending league champions Nungua Coldstore continue to lead the way with 23 points two ahead of Ghana Police who have played a fewer than Coldstore.
Police will be in action on Sunday against Ashaiman Lions in a game that has the second and third placed teams in the standings face off.
