The crunch tie features two teams in the division’s top three positions and is expected to produce a lot of fireworks as both teams strive for a what will be a big win for either side.
For CYO, tonight’s matchup offers an opportunity to beat a top three opponent in the division after falling to second placed Ghana Police in a previous encounter.
Ahead of the game against league leaders Reformers tonight, CYO clinched a 66-54 win over Junior Reformers; Prisons on the other hand, clinched a 73-67 win over Junior Rangers in a pesky encounter on Monday October 16 in a postponed game.
A win for Reformers is enough to stretch its lead to three points ahead of Police who play on Friday against Dunk Knights.
Tonight’s opening game is between Navy Warriors, who lie fifth in the standings, and Spartans who have won just one of eight games in the league.
