Coldstore (white) lost to Lions for the second time in the series.

Lions (green) outlasted Police.
Tema Community 4 takes on Ashaiman Lions in the Finals of the 2017 Tema Basketball League with Game One tipping off tonight.

The game will be played at Tema’s Community 4 Court right after Nungua Coldstore plays Tema Heat in the third placed game at 15:30 GMT.

Unlike the finals which have the winner declared in the best of three games, the bronze medal game is a one off tie involving 2016 league champions Coldstore.

However, ahead of Game One, Lions Guards Musah Jibril and Elvis Pobi-Siaw have been thrust into the spotlight following the duos participation at the first ever FIBA Africa 3X3 Cup that ended in Togo.

Both players represented Ghana at the competition and chances are both may not be available for the clash or could be fatigued come game time after featuring in the just ended international tournament.

The players are integral members of Ashaiman’s setup and played key roles in Lions big win over 2016 Champions Coldstore in the playoffs.

Should either player fall short of match fitness it could spell doom for Lions against Community 4’s top backcourt of Aninagyei Osei and Kent Fosu.
