Knights made Police sweat for lenghty periods in a previous game.
Ghana Police had little trouble dealing with Tudu Galaxy in the last round of games played in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.

The games which were played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu had the veteran side win 87-46 for its tenth victory in 11 games this season.

Police’s big win came after CYO lost 60-72 to Akatsi Rifles in the opening game with the 12 point win earning Akatsi its fourth win of the season.

Rifles win takes the side to 10th place in the standings while CYO stays put in sixth place after recording poor results in recent encounters.

While neither of the aforementioned stand a chance of qualifying to Division I next season, Police needed the win over Galaxy to guarantee its spot in the elite division.

Beating the home side in convincing fashion moves Police to the division’s summit ahead of Reformers of Prisons who occupied the envious spot after recording a similar dominant win over Dunk Knights earlier in the week.
