West Siders are officially the worse team in the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League three weeks into the 2017-2018 season.
The team rightly sits at the base of the six team league with two points from three games played at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani.
West Siders lost 26-44 to University of Energy an Natural Resources (UENR) in the opening game of Week 3 games played over the weekend.
The loss to the defending league champions who double as league leaders follows a similar loss to 32-61 to LIR Royals. West Siders forfeited the opening round of the ongoing campaign as punishment for registering late.
However, the team could be in for its maiden win of the season as it takes on fellow strugglers Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG Saints) in the next round.
Saints share the same record with West Siders but have three points following a 15-45 loss to Desert Rabbits in the last round.
Though CUCG lost 14-46 to Barracks Scorpions in the season debut, it earned thema point which separates the team from its opponent on Saturday December 16.
