Brimah in action for Spurs.
Jones in action for New Orleans.

2012 NBA Draft first round pick Terrence Jones is reported to have signed for Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA’s Gatorade League joining Amida Brimah.

Ghana Center Brimah is with Austin Spurs-the G-League affiliate of NBA side San Antonio Spurs- who feature in the Western Conference.

Brimah is averaging 5.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 15 games in his first season with Austin and will face Jones later in January next year.

The former University of Connecticut Captain featured in Spurs 111-104 win over Santa Cruz on Monday December 10 with Brimah scoring four points and recording three blocks.

Jones could matchup against Brimah when the Warriors and Spurs clash early in 2018 since the 6 foot 11 inch Brimah can play the Forward position in a big lineup.

After spending five seasons in the NBA with Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks, 6 foot 9 inch Forward Jones featured for Qingdao in the Chinese Basketball Association this season.

However, he was waived making him eligible to sign with any team as a free agent; Jones was drafted 18th overall in 2012 after winning the National Championship with Kentucky alongside Anthony Davis.
