St. Mary’s Senior High School will compete at the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship after finishing top of a special voting process to determine the school to fill the final spot in the competition’s female division.

After missing out securing an automatic spot at Sprite Ball with West Africa Senior High School and Accra Wesley Girls High School doing so, St. Mary’s needed to win the polls to compete at the tournament.

The school clinched the spot with 2,107 votes ahead of Eastern region outfit Okuapeman Senior High School who raked in 744 votes.

St. Mary’s joins nine schools at the Championship which takes place next year from January 4-6 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
