Austin Spurs Ghana Center Amida Brimah has recorded his maiden double double for the season highlighting an improved form.

The former University of Connecticut Captain recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds in Austin’s 113-94 win over Long Island Nets.

The win is Spurs second in a five game road trip and sees the team rebound from a loss to defending NBA Gatorade League Champions Raptors 905.

Brimah converted five of nine shots from the field and continued his impressive production in offensive rebounding by recording five in the game.

He added three blocks and two steals to his stat line after playing 22 minutes; however Amida fell short of his stellar outing after hitting one of four free throw attempts.

Amida narrowly missed out on pacing the game in rebounds as teammate Livio Jean-Charles picked up one more rebound the Ghanaian player.

Darrun Hilliard led Spurs offense as he registered 23 points; his output was a game high beating Nets Milton Doyle’s 22 point mark.
