Amida
Brimah goes up for Dunk

Ahead of tonight’s encounter with Northern Arizona Suns in the NBA Gatorade League, Austin Spurs have dropped to eighth in the standings.

The team which features Ghana Center Amida Brimah is eighth in the 13 team Western Conference rankings and in danger of missing the playoffs.

Spurs have lost two straight games to Wisconsin Herd and Maine Red Claws; both losses have been close with Austin falling 92-95 to Herd and 108-11 to Maine.

However, the team needs a win against the struggling Suns tonight to move up the standings Iowa Wolves holding a 15 win, 11 loss record. Spurs have won 15 games but lost 12 this season.

Rio Grande Vipers lead the conference with 18 wins and 10 losses this season and Oklahoma City Blue and South Bay Lakers round up the top three spots.

Brimah has been steady throughout the season but has impressed in recent games pacing games in rebounding and blocks.

The former University of Connecticut Captain is averaging six points and seven rebounds.
