The second half of the 2017-2018 Global Sporting Platforms (GSP) Basketball League is set to commence in February per reports reaching Basketballghana.com

Games in the league are in line to tip off at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani in Ghana’s Brong Ahafo regional capital next month.

This season marks the third campaign of the division which had Suncity Braves win the maiden league title in 2015-2016.

University of Education and Natural Resources (UENR) beat Braves in the final games last season to clinch the league trophy.

Both teams occupy the top positions in the league after the conclusion of the first half with UENR ahead of last season’s beaten finalist Braves.

Information reaching Ghana’s leading hoops portal indicate the second half of the campaign is scheduled to tip off on February 17.

UENR is competing in this year’s Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games and fellow tertiary institutions Sunyani Technical University and Catholic University College compete in the league.

LIR Royals, Barracks Scorpions and Desert Rabbits round up the list of teams competing this season.
