Basketballghana.com gathers plans are far advanced to multiple courts dotted around in Ghana’s capital city; logistics needed for the construction have been shipped in.
The Mayor made this known when he received a contingent from Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) at his office following the team’s remarkable win at the Sprite Ball Championship.
Osu PRESEC shocked the field in the boys division to win the championship by beating Mfantsipim School 25-22 in the final game played at the El Wak Stadium.
The win is the first time since 2009 a school from Accra has won the Championship in the male division; Sacred Heart Technical Institute’s female side won the girls division in 2010.
Since assuming office in 2017, the AMA Boss has been active in efforts to give Accra a major face lift and providing courts for the city’s many young individuals to develop skills is seen as a great venture.
Basketballghnaa.com can confirm Osu PRESEC will be beneficiaries of the project with a new court set to be constructed for the school.
