Hilliard
Brimah in action for Spurs

Brimah goes up for Dunk
Austin Spurs will have a representative in this year’s NBA Gatorade League All Star Game in the wake of Guard Darrun Hiliard’s selection to the game.

Hiliard was the only Spurs player named in the Western Conference team meaning Ghanaian player Amida Brimah has missed out.

The highly rated defender leads the league in blocks averaging 2.7 per game this season and is a key piece to Austin’s conference leading status.

His shot blocking ability and elite rim protection has powered Spurs to move up from eighth in the standings to first place.

Spurs won six straight games prior to a 115-120 loss to Memphis Hustle in its last outing; the team won seven in ten games before falling to Memphis at home.

Members of the team are voted for by Coaches, Managers and Players in the league; 12 players will suit up for the Western and Eastern Conference teams respectively.

Iowa Wolves, Texas Legends and South Bay Lakers each have two players selected to represent the West.
