Per information reaching, the 2018 Private Universities Sports Association Games (PUSAG) will be played in Kumasi.

Ghana’s Ashanti Capital will reportedly host this year’s multi sport event which will students compete in football, table tennis and volleyball among others.

Marshalls University College roll into the basketball competition as two time Champions following wins in 2016 and 2017.

However, the team’s title winning campaigns were recorded at the El Wak Stadium in Accra and Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape-Coast.

The Games are likely to be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi keeping in line with the competition’s recent tradition of staging PUSAG in the nation’s major edifices.

Both edifices are located far from the Ashanti Region with El Wak situated in Ghana’s capital region Accra while Cape-Coast is in the Central Region.

Over 30 non government-owned tertiary institutions are set to participate in the annual event with over a thousand athletes.

The likes of Valley View, and Islamic University Colleges respectively are among favorites in the basketball event.
