All Nations University College has scored its first win in the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.

The team clinched a 45-32 win over Ho Technical University in its second game of the competition which is taking place at Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary.

The win marked an encouraging display from All Nations after losing 31-33 to Koforidua Technical University in the first game.

All Nations led through all four quarters clinching a 9-6 win in the first quarter before stretching its lead in the second half.

The three point lead turned into a seven point lead midway through the second quarter before All Nations went out of sight.

Ho didn’t help its course turning the ball several times and fizzled out after a promising start highlighted by coming from 2-6 to lead to tie the score at 6.

Power Forward Philip Barley missed the first game against Koforidua on technical grounds but made the most of his time on the court with an MVP performance.

However, his efforts was topped by Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw who produced highlight worthy moves involving step back and turn around three point shots.
