KAAF University “going for a win” in UPAC Zone 3

KAAF training ahead of the zonal games
KAAF University College is heading to the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Zonal games with big intentions to win according to Shooting Guard Sylvester Abror.

He made the statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com ahead of the team’s upcoming competition on Saturday March 10 at the University of Education-Winneba (UEW).

UEW is hosting KAAF, University of Cape-Coast (UCC) and Cape-Coast Technical University in Zone 3 of the 2018 UPAC Championship.

KAAF made its maiden appearance in the renowned competition last year but failed to qualify to the next stage; the team is aiming to avoid a repeat.

“No matter what, we are just going for a win we are not looking at their physique or the way they (opposing teams) play what we are going in for is a win” he said.

KAAF is new to the zone after playing in last year’s preliminary stage in the Eastern Region which was topped by All Nations University College.

All Nations has repeated as Champions this year sealing a return to the national Championship games.
