The final round of games in the Tema Basketball League organized Battle Grounds Tournament will be played later today.
Tema’s Community 4 Court will host the final fixtures before the 2018 League season tips off; the new season is reported to commence in late March.
Nungua Coldstore, Teshie Rangers, Ashaiman Lions and Tema Community 4 will compete in the semifinals and the chance to win the trophy.
Coldstore takes on Rangers in the opening semifinal at 15:00 GMT with Lions facing home side Community 4 in the second semifinal.
2016 League Champions Coldstore made it to the finals after winning all three games in Group B and the team is gunning for its first trophy since annexing the 2016 trophy.
Rangers placed second in Group A behind Ashaiman Lions and have a tough challenge ahead; Lions play Group B runners up Community 4 in a massive showpiece game.
C4 beat Lions in the 2017 league final to clinch the title but Lions have been impressive since that lost and won the Campaign Tournament in December last year.
