Pentecost University College (PUC) Male Basketball Co-Captain William Franke has stated his side can perform well at this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.

The team is set to compete on Thursday March 29 at the University of Ghana (UG) in Zone 8 where it has been drawn alongside the host team, Radford University College and Regional Maritime University College.

Franke made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com ahead of tomorrow’s games where Pentecost will be attempting to make it to the next stage.

He said, “When we come together as a say and play together, then that’s it. We can play very well when we get there”.

Pentecost will be counting on the experience of Franke and fellow Captain Julius Oduro to carry the team which quite a number of new members.

Securing top spot in the zone qualifies the successful team to the national championship stage of the tournament which takes place from April 12-14.

Zone 8 is the final stop at the preliminary stage.
