Ghana Center Amida Brimah will be involved in a tough clash later tonight as Austin Spurs take on Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA Gatorade League playoffs.

In the battle of the bigs, Brimah will be matched up with Vipers Chinese Center Zhou Qi; Brimah stands 6 foot 11 inches while Qi stands 7 foot 1 inch.

Both players are highly rated for their rim protection and defensive plays as Brimah has translated in a regular season league leading shot blocking title.

Qi’s impressive plays in the G League have earned him several call ups to Vipers NBA affiliate side Houston Rockets.

Brimah goes into the game averaging 6.6 points, 74 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game; Spurs were not involved in the opening round of the playoffs.

On the other hand, Qi is averaging 11 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game and recently registered a nine points and six rebounds in Vipers 107-100 win over Taxas Legends in the playoffs first round.
